The research project “Manage Your Green Journey – Aksaray Province Feasibility and Planning Study” (Project No: 2021-İHT-002), supported by the Aksaray University Coordination Unit for Specialization in Sports and Health, has been completed. It was carried out by project leader Assoc. Prof. Dr. Havva Ülgen Bekişoğlu, researchers Lect. Dr. Çiğdem Gürel Ağır, Lect. Ersin Ateş and Dr. Öznur Tuğcu, with consultant Hakan Öztürk.

Integrating GIS (ArcGIS) with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the study identified the most suitable cycling and trekking routes and the Hasandağı climbing route, and developed a master plan with four types of service units and a mobile-based web portal to support sustainable nature tourism in Aksaray.
